Paris, 12th July 2022 – the Board of Directors of Île-de-France Mobilités, which met this Tuesday, 12th July, has decided to award the operation of bus lines in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines to Groupement Lacroix & Savac.
In accordance with the specifications of public transport authority Île-de-France Mobilités, Groupement Lacroix & Savac will operate the bus network of the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines urban community. This contract, which represents €31 million per year, will begin 1st January 2023 for a term of seven years.
With 376 drivers and 222 vehicles for these 47 new lines, Groupement Lacroix & Savac is continuing its growth in Île-de-France while boosting its activities in Les Yvelines, one of its historic areas of operation. It will offer passengers in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines quality transport that is mindful of the environment. The offering will be in line with its current services but will involve increased efficiency and also meet new passenger needs.
“We’re very pleased by the trust Île-de-France Mobilités has placed in us by awarding us Lot 29, an iconic network of the grande couronne area, in which we already operate 50% of the regular lines,” explains Géric Bigot, executive director of Groupement Lacroix & Savac. “By entrusting us with the operation of the Essonne Sud Ouest lines from 1st August 2022, the organising authority is demonstrating its ongoing faith in our teams. This increases our motivation to go on pursuing new contracts while continuing to focus on social and environmental issues, as well as quality service to passengers, as our topmost concerns.”
